Speaking on the occasion, he wished the memorial to Krantiguru Krishna Verma fulfill his dream of India becoming Vishwa Guru, or Global Guru. The people of Gujarat feel proud of its illustrious son and pay their obeisance to him. This Kranti Teerth is projected to be pay indebt-ness to revolutionaries who lived up to the slogans of 'Vande Mataram' and 'Sujalam Sufalam'.

Mr. Modi asked the people to take inspiration from the life of the Krantiguru, his journey from the seacoast of Mandvi to the India House. He expressed happiness that a museum of India's revolutionaries has been set up in the westernmost coast of India. The replica of India House will reverberate with patriotic songs and preserve the country's rich heritage.

He was born in the year of India's first freedom struggle in 1857 and died in 1930. Mr. Modi brought his ashes from Geneva in 2003 and decided in 2009 to build a memorial befitting the krantiguru. The memorial built at a cost of Rs.6-crore is ready in 14 months. It chronicles important events of India's freedom struggle from 1857 to 1947 through posters and pictures. Shyamji fought the foreign rule sitting in England, converting India House as a centre of revolutionary activities
